This 4K Resolution NVR is the best bang for the buck for users looking for a recorder with an abundance of SATA hard drive ports to retain video for months from cameras up to 8MP in resolution. We recommend you use our security camera storage calculator how much hard drive space you'll need. This network video recorder offers the latest H.265 and H.264 video encoding algorithms, and supports up to 32 IP cameras at resolutions up to 8 megapixels. It offers total of 200Mbps of total recording bandwidth. You can mix and match camera resolutions and frame rate (fps) and record video as long as the total recording bit rate is under 200Mbps.

This 32 camera NVR comes in a 2U rackmountable case that has all the bells and whistles that even a PC based NVR cannot provide. It allows for up to 8 internal SATA DVR hard drives up to 6TB each, for a total of 48TB. Video back-up is easy using the USB 3.0 port on the back of the NVR, or to a PC using the free client software that comes with all of our recorders. You can even backup video using the FTP upload function to backup to a NAS, or to another NVR. This way, if your main NVR is ever damaged or destroyed, your video footage will still be protected by being saved in another location on another device.

You can connect this 4K camera NVR recorder to hardwired motion sensors using its alarm input connections for fine tuning alarm alerts. It comes equipped with 16 alarm input connections and 8 relay outputs. You most likely will not need all of them, since our new line of security cameras with smart detection allow intelligent video detection that is more accurate than traditional video based motion detection.

All of our security camera recorders provide remote access through the built-in web server that you can log on to using a web browser, mobile phone, or the included Free Central Monitor Software. After configuring your router, you can receive real time event alerts on your phone or email. We also include FREE iPhone iPad and Android Apps so your security camera system is accessible from anywhere in the world.

Total 1 question(s)

I'm a system admin for NASA AMES. Is the NVR you offer manageable by an Admin? Meaning am I able to login to the NVR on the back end and perform patch updates to it? Or install 3rd part software we use to keep our systems baseline with CIS? We use puppet for this.

Question by: Osvaldo Herrera on: 2020-04-01

All standalone NVRs are locked down to perform the functions they are designed to do reliably. Yes you can login to perform admin functions, and use the NVRs with the cameras we sell.
