This 4K PTZ camera with 40X zoom is a professional solution security needs requiring long range viewing in both day and night. It is a favorite among our US military customers. At quadruple the pixel density of our 1080P PTZ Cameras, this 4K PTZ Camera delivers unheard of image quality in Real Time 30fps with its 8 Megapixel SONY STARVIS image sensor. It is a network based camera like our outdoor PTZ cameras and has a powerful CPU that can encode video in H264+ or H.265+ to minimize the amount of network bandwidth and storage required. It has a powerful 5.6–223mm optical zoom lens, that's 40X zoom power. You can expect an additional 16X digital zoom on top of that. Using the powerful zoom capabilities of this IP based PTZ camera you can recognize a face up to 1440ft away in daylight when viewing in full zoom mode. Plus, with 1475ft of night vision you'll be able to see and identify objects in total darkness a long distance away.

Complete with IP67 weatherproof rated chassis this 4K PTZ camera can be mounted outdoors without concern for rain, or snow. It is a high-speed High Power PoE PTZ camera that requires either our higher power 60W PoE+ injector or the included 36VDC power adaptor.

All of these specs are great to sift through, but as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so we made this overview video. We give insight into what the camera comes with, including it’s gooseneck wall mount and a preview of some optional mounts. After a quick walkthrough showing how to connect the camera to a PoE injector, it boots up and starts its power on self test. To record IP PTZ cameras, or any IP camera, you will need an NVR to record the UltraHD 4K video while having control of the security camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities. You can also save short video clips or time-lapsed snapshots to the internal microSD card. The microSD card option is a factory installed SD card, and must be selected at the time of purchase. You can also use this camera as a PTZ webcam for remote viewing over the internet or saving snapshots of a construction project, or livestock. Easy Web Access for Video and Control - NO Plugins!

This camera also has an extremely useful interface that is accessible while on the same local network from any of the world’s favorite browsers, including Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Access through the powerful web browser interface is quick, convenient, and gives complete access to all of the camera’s settings. Within moments of typing the camera’s IP address in a browser and logging into the admin user, video from the camera plays, and an array of menu options are available to move the camera around, save PTZ presets, and adjust other settings. By the way, this is all without an additional browser plugin or extension, which is only required for two-way audio and playback of microSD card recorded footage.

Even from Mac and iOS devices!

Mac fans rejoice! This camera and others that have our modern web interface are also compatible with most Mac computers and their browsers, such as Chrome and Safari. It is just about the same as the Windows web interface, providing quick and effortless access to watch, control, and configure cameras. And that’s not all!
