Using a high-quality solid copper conductor RG59 coax cable, the camera's HD security over Coax technology allows the video signal to be run up to 1600 feet without signal loss in HDCVI mode using one of the Premium DVR recorders by Avalonix. It is a great option for people who want to upgrade to an HD security camera system but do not want to incur the cost of rewiring their home or business with network cabling for IP cameras.

The 3.6 mm fixed lens on this bullet camera captures a wide 92 degree field of view when in 5MP mode. You can keep watch over your property day & night thanks to the high-intensity super-infrared LED that provides night vision for distances of up to 100 feet.

The camera's metal construction makes it suitable for use in harsh weather conditions without protection from an overhang or eave. With the exception of a hurricane or tornado, you can rely on it to keep functioning no matter the conditions. Mounting options for the camera include a wall, ceiling, or pole. Due to its compact size, it can be used anywhere, including inside. The camera bracket protects the camera pigtail from wire snipping and tampering.

The camera also has an on-screen display menu (OSD) that can be controlled using a DVR or XVR when the camera is in HD mode. The OSD allows fine control of the video brightness, contrast, gain, and other key video features.

This camera supports a variety of video signal types thanks to its 4-in-1 switchable TVI/ AHD / CVI / CVBS technology. You can choose 5MP/4MP/1080P HDCVI or 4MP TVI/AHD video or analog CVBSvideo output for compatibility with a standard-definition older 480P, D1, or 960H DVR.
