This 1080P Box Camera is an ideal camera to upgrade an aging security camera system with analog box cameras. This Box camera can capture video in low light conditions thanks to its 1/2.8" progressive scan starlight CMOS image sensor. It outputs 1080P in Real Time 30fps, and can also provide 720P video at up to 60fps when used with a HDCVI DVR. It also has True WDR to help in situations where you may have sun glare. It accepts 2MP CS mount lenses (not included), and is meant for indoors. It will work with either a regular outdoor camera enclosure or heater blower enclosure if you would like to use it outdoors. This camera accepts dual voltage 24VAC or 12VDC which makes it ideal for use with a security camera power supply box.
The camera has dual video outputs of Analog Resolution or HDCVI; in case you have an analog DVR or have an analog CCTV Tester, you can take advantage of the analog video output. There is one channel audio input that allows use of an add-on microphone; the audio signal is combined with the HDCVI video stream and transmitted over RG59 cable. To decode the audio signal over HDCVI, use of a HDCVI DVR is required.

- Working with old cable Review by Manny Singh
At first I was unsure whether this camera could work with cable I already for older cameras. I thank the support staff at CCTV World for helping me figure out. I sent them a picture of what cable I had and they recommended this camera to replace cameras that I have now in housings outside my store. I upgraded DVR to new HD recorder and now I get a great picture. My old lens from old cameras worked ok but was a little out of focus. I tried the new lens they have and it was better clearer picture. (Posted on 6/13/19)Value Quality Price

Can I use this camera with an infrared housing or IR illuminator?
Question by: Ty Anderson on: 2019-03-19
Yes you can use this HD box camera with add-on infrared as long as the IR intensity is not too strong. Having too much IR will cause the camera's day and night switching to become confused. This infrared camera enclosure works fine with this camera.
