You can expect facial detail up to 45ft away from the camera. IP PoE cameras are used best when recorded to a network video recorder, and allow for digital zoom capability in recorded video with minimal quality loss. Network based cameras have RJ45 connectors, and use CAT5e or CAT6 cabling. These cameras can be powered using a PoE network switch, a PoE capable NVR, or independent power adapters located next to the camera.
