You can enable ONVIF streaming on the camera, and use the ONVIF protocol on your Lorex NVR to stream video from the camera. Not AI Smart Detection will only work with NVRs from the same brand - Security Cameras Inc.

Yes. This Security Cameras Inc camera is an IP-addressable PoE camera, so it can be used with a compatible SCI NVR or as a standalone camera. If you are using it by itself without an NVR, you will need a PoE injector or PoE switch to power the camera and connect it to your network.

After the camera is powered and online, you can scan the camera's P2P code into the SCI View app for live viewing from your phone. If you want the camera to record without an NVR, order it with a compatible microSD card so it can record video clips from event detection.

For alerts, you can configure one supported event detection type through the app or camera settings. Depending on the camera model, this may include regular motion detection, Smart Motion Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Face Detection, or other AI video events listed on the product page.

So yes, the camera can notify you of a possible intruder, but the exact alert type depends on which detection rule you enable, whether the camera has a microSD card installed, and how the SCI View app notifications are configured.
