This 1080P HD Security Camera with Night Vision captures detailed 2MP video for home and business surveillance. While economically priced, it delivers a substantial upgrade over standard-definition analog cameras and many basic cameras included with low-cost security camera kits.
When paired with a compatible HD DVR, the camera sends high-definition video over traditional coax cable. With high-quality solid copper RG59 coax cable, the video signal can travel up to 1600 feet without the need to replace existing coax wiring with network cable. This makes the camera a practical choice for upgrading an existing analog security camera system to HD video while continuing to use compatible coax cabling.
The 2.8mm fixed lens provides a wide 103-degree angle of view for monitoring entrances, rooms, yards, storefronts, and other areas where broad coverage is important. Twelve high-intensity infrared LEDs provide up to 66 feet of infrared night vision, allowing the camera to continue monitoring in complete darkness.

HDCVI, HDTVI and AHD Compatibility
This multi-format analog HD camera works in HDCVI, HDTVI/TVI, and AHD modes at both 1080P and 720P resolution. The camera must be set to the video format supported by your DVR. A compatible DVR that supports camera video-mode configuration is required to change between HDCVI, HDTVI, and AHD.
By default, the camera ships configured for 1080P HDCVI mode. If your DVR requires HDTVI, AHD, 720P, or another supported configuration, contact CCTV Camera World after placing your order and ask us to configure the camera for your recorder before shipment.

Works with Older Standard-Definition Analog Equipment in CVBS Mode
The camera also supports standard-definition CVBS analog video for compatibility with older analog DVRs, CCTV monitors, and other equipment that accepts composite video through a BNC or compatible RCA connection.
The camera must be placed in CVBS mode before it is connected to older standard-definition analog equipment.
