This is an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) intended for use with security camera systems to supply short amounts of backup time in case of an electrical outage. Please make sure you are not connecting any other devices besides your DVR, and camera power supplies, as any other electrical devices connected to the battery will shorten the duration of back up time. Runtime on the battery will depend on the total wattage consumption of the devices connected to it. A 100 Watt consumption would last 40 minutes, and 200 Watt consumption would last 17 minutes at max battery health.
This unit features dynamic line conditioning to guard against surges/spikes and offers battery backup in the event of brownouts or blackouts. Its patented GreenPower UPS™ advanced circuitry reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to competitive models.
This unit has a capacity of 1000VA/600 Watts, nine (9) NEMA 5-15R receptacles, including five (5) Battery Backup & Surge Protected Outlets and (4) Surge Protected Only Outlets. The intelligent multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control. This unit offers connectivity via one (1) USB and one (1) serial port, as well as protection for phone/network (RJ11/RJ45) and cable/coax (RG-6). It has one (1) maintenance-free, user-replaceable internal 12V/9Ah battery. PowerPanel® Personal Edition UPS Management software automatically closes computer files and safely shuts down the system in case of a power outage.
