If you are looking for a camera suitable for use in a pool or aquarium then you've found the right product. This submersible security camera is made specifically for use underwater and is suitable for submersion up to 30ft thanks to its IP68 rating. This underwater camera is small and compact, and has a 1/3" SONY CCD image sensor with 700TVL resolution rating to provide clear, crisp video to a standard composite TV input or to a DVR. This is the best quality video that you can get from an analog security camera that outputs to standard analog video without the complications of IP. The camera has a built-in 160ft wire that makes it easy to run the combined video/power cord out of the water in your pool and in to your TV or video recorder that might be located away from the pool inside the house.
This camera is great for use for a swimming school, or swimming or diving team looking to record video and observe form. It is even great for use in an aquarium or small pond.
Although the camera has a standard BNC video output, it can be used with any regular Television with RCA video input using the included BNC-RCA adapter. You can use the included bracket to mount the camera to a flat surface like an overhang, or submerged using some diving weights. Since it has a 700TVL CCD it can also be used with any of our 960H DVR recorders.

Does this camera have motion detection, so that it only records when something is moving?
Question by: Lisa on: 2018-02-28
This is an analog underwater camera that puts out a composite video signal referred to as CVBS. It does not have any intelligence built-in. Further you cannot have an underwater camera with motion detection because video based motion detection senses changes in pixels. Disturbance in the water from external light sources would trigger false alerts.
