Connecting network security cameras is simple as this security recorder offers 16 built-in PoE (Power Over Ethernet) ports to record security cameras using  convenient plug-and-play technology. All you need is a single network cable to not only power the camera, but also send video, audio, and data back to the NVR. For best compatibility, use this recording unit with third-party IP cameras using ONVIF, including Hikvision models, thanks to its robust ONVIF support.

This 16 Channel NVR is part of the Pro Series as it supports a wide variety of third-party cameras, including cameras from manufacturers such as Axis, Vivotek, and Hikvision. Its ONVIF implementation is excellent and allows easy integration with security cameras found in existing systems. A list of compatible 3rd party cameras can be found here.

It supports up to two hard drives,  10TB each for total recording capacity of 20TB. If you find that one hard drive isn’t giving you enough video storage, simply add a second hard drive. You can also conserve hard drive space by enabling specific recording schedules or motion detection recording. These functions can be configured on the NVR directly using its mouse and a  monitor, or over the web. This professional NVR, equipped with a powerful dual-core processor, records video streams up to 8MP or 4K in resolution depending on the camera resolution.

This NVR has a HDMI and VGA video output to display video on two separate monitors simultaneously. Exporting or backing up video is easy with this user-friendly unit by using a USB flash drive. You can also view and download video over a network or internet using our free CMS software for Windows.
