The camera comes equipped with a 4MP video Sensor, providing a reasonable QHD 2K images. It supports either H.265 or H.264 codecs, which offer flexible video compression options.
With a 3.6mm fixed lens, the camera captures a 80° horizontal field of view. This camera provides 82 feet of infrared night vision and up to 66 feet of White Light for Color Night Vision, enabling clear surveillance footage in low-light conditions. According to your preferences, you can set the camera to either activate its IR LEDs for black and white night vision in low light or enable the White Light LED to capture colored video during the night.

See this 2K active deterrence bullet in a real scene. Our short overview walks through the features of the camera, shows day and night sample footage, plus the deterrence features in action (spotlight, red/blue warning lights, and siren). In the end there is an actual unboxing of the camera and its contents. In daytime testing at the native wide 80 deg view, we were able to pull usable facial detail at about 30 ft. The clip makes it easy to gauge framing, and distance.
The white LED doubles as one of the Active Deterrence features as well as a loudspeaker that can be used to discourage potential intruders. The camera also has a Blue/Red police-style alert light as an additional option for intrusion prevention.
With Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR) for glare compensation and 3D Digital Noise Reduction, the camera ensures high-quality footage in various lighting conditions and scenarios. Video-based motion detection, coupled with Region of Interest settings, provides customizable surveillance options.

Additionally, it includes a built-in web server accessible over the LAN for easy control using a Windows PC with Edge in IE mode. Requires plugin installation. The camera has a MicroSD slot that supports up to 256GB (MicroSD card sold separately), providing ample local storage. It also supports ONVIF Profile S/G/T, ensuring compatibility with different surveillance systems. Note AI detection is only available when used with a compatible Security Cameras Inc NVR.

Yes. This Security Cameras Inc camera is an IP-addressable PoE camera, so it can be used with a compatible SCI NVR or as a standalone camera. If you are using it by itself without an NVR, you will need a PoE injector or PoE switch to power the camera and connect it to your network.
After the camera is powered and online, you can scan the camera's P2P code into the SCI View app for live viewing from your phone. If you want the camera to record without an NVR, order it with a compatible microSD card so it can record video clips from event detection.
For alerts, you can configure one supported event detection type through the app or camera settings.
