Unlike most other security cameras, this camera features dual voltage support. This is especially beneficial for customers replacing older analog cameras that use 24VAC or when dealing with long-distance cable runs exceeding 300ft. The dual voltage capability allows the use of 24VAC to power the camera, making it a versatile choice. The 2MP resolution ensures clear security footage and allows for digital zoom on both recorded and live video when paired with a compatible HD DVR. With our HD Analog Security Cameras like this one, you can easily achieve HD-quality video using simple RG59U coaxial cable with BNC connectors. Whether you're installing a new system or upgrading an existing one, this dome security camera is a budget-friendly option when paired with an HD DVR.

This camera goes a step further with its motorized zoom lens. The 5X optical zoom lens allows users to view farther than most traditional surveillance cameras. The motorized lens can be conveniently controlled through the DVR or via the mobile app connected to the DVR, making it easy to adjust the camera's field of view even after installation. At the widest 2.7mm setting, the camera offers a wide-angle view of 108 degrees, allowing for face recognition up to 30ft away. When zoomed in to the 13.5mm setting, the angle of view narrows to 30 degrees, but face recognition distance increases to 90ft. These distances were measured during the day with the camera recording at 2MP resolution and 30fps.

This camera is enhanced with Starlight Technology, which enables color video capture in low-light conditions, such as dusk or nighttime, when ambient lighting is adequate. Even in lighting as low as 0.001 Lux, the camera remains in color mode. In complete darkness or areas with minimal ambient light, the camera automatically switches to black and white night mode. To ensure clear visibility in total darkness, the built-in Super IR LEDs provide night vision up to 200ft away.

Another advanced feature of this camera is its True WDR (120dB) capability, which significantly improves video quality when capturing scenes with varying light levels. This is especially useful when the camera is installed indoors and faces an entrance or window, where lighting can vary significantly.

The camera supports 1080P HDCVI signals, which can be transmitted over distances up to 1600ft using RG59U solid copper cable and up to 650ft using HD video baluns with bare copper CAT6 cable. Both video and audio can be transmitted through a single coaxial cable using HDCVI technology. Additionally, the camera features a built-in dip-switch on the pigtail for selecting the video signal type compatible with your security DVR. You can switch the camera to analog CVBS video output for testing purposes or connect it to an older DVR to record 480P video.

This dome-shaped camera can be mounted directly to a drop ceiling. For more installation options, there are optional wall, ceiling, and pole mounts available. The camera is rated IP67 weather-resistant, meaning it can withstand outdoor conditions without needing extra protection. Its durable construction meets IK10 impact and vandal resistance standards, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, it supports dual voltage with 12VDC or 24VAC power input, providing flexibility for various installation scenarios.
