Description
Details
Specialized video balun pair to transmit video signals for HD over coax security cameras, including HDCVI cameras, TVI, and AHD cameras. You can even use them with regular CCTV cameras as you would use our passive video baluns for analog signals.
The principle is the same as any other video balun: these are an easy solution to send video over CAT5/CAT6 or any 2 lead wire (also called twisted pair wire). You can run your HD video signal cable up to 500ft without losing clarity or color. Beyond that, we have tested HD video baluns to cause desaturation to the point where there is complete loss of color from the video.

Can I use 22/4 wire with your Baluns instead of cat5?
Question by: Drew Ritenour on: 2018-07-24
Yes you can use a 22awg wire with baluns as well. As long as you maintain polarity of the wire for the Balun connection, it will work.
