Looking for a 32 camera IP system? Use this system configuration page to put together a customized system to suit your needs. Start by choosing from a variety of NVRs depending on the amount of maximum storage capacity you are looking for. Then choose the amount of hard drive storage you would like installed with your system. Then move on to select the types and number of cameras. All of the cameras we have listed here are PoE IP cameras (except for PTZ IP cameras with 20X or higher zoom), meaning you simply have to run a network cable between the camera and a PoE switch for both power and data. PoE (Power over Ethernet) makes it truly plug and play to wire a network camera system. When choosing cameras, consider the following features:
- Resolution - 3 Megapixel (3MP), 2MP (1080p) or 1 (720P)
- Shape and design - dome vs bullet
- Night vision distance - no infrared, 60ft, 100ft, 300ft
- Lens Type - fixed lens, variable zoom lens
- Optical Zoom Type - manual vs motorized (i.e. Pan Tilt Zoom)
- Mounting surface - wall, ceiling, or pole
- Where the camera will be used - indoors or outdoors
- Cost
Camera Features:
- 3MP IP Cameras that record in higher resolution than HD 1080p
- 2MP IP Cameras that record HD 1080P video
- 1MP IP Cameras that record HD 720P video
H.264 Video Encoding Stream for the highest quality video while conserving bandwidth
- 3MP at 20fps max, 1080P at 30fps, 720P at 30fps
- PoE Power for Plug & Play operation
- Some PTZ cameras require 24V AC
Video Recorder Features:
- 32 Camera Network Video Recorders
- H.264 Video Compression to save hard drive space and provide the clearest possible video
- Ample video storage capacity
- HDMI video out for connection to HD TV
- Selectable recording modes: continuous 24/7, schedule based recording, motion detection
- Compatible with several types of devices for remote viewing
- iPhone
- iPad
- Google Android Phone or Tablet
- Windows Phone
Windows PC Computer
- Apple Computer
- Motion Alerts automatically sent to your phone or email when motion is detected
- Auto video recycling
- Video backup is easily done to USB flash drive, or to FTP or PC over the network

Product Questions
Total 2 question(s)
Hi,
The organisation I'm working for is looking to update its security system but I have a few questions
Looking at about 20+ cameras
1080P should do for most of them but may go to 3m depending on cost
Indoor\outdoor cameras
Need POE, preferably 16 local and the rest on separate 16 port POE switch
Motion detection
Night vision
30+ day storage (9 hours constant then motion detection after)
Preferably rack-mountable
Will Item# 16POEPLUS with 20x Item# IP3000B so the job?
Is there anything else I need to consider?
Are there any ongoing licencing costs?
Could I please get an official 30-day quote?
Thanks
Question by: Sean on: 2017-10-18
The 16POEPLUS will work fine with the IP3000B. Please keep in mind that if your cable runs are longer than 100m you will need a poe extender (POEEXT01).
For retention time, please specify how many cameras and their resolution you intend to have.
For a system you will need the 32 channel NVR with 16poe, external 16 channel poe swtich, cameras, cabling and monitor.
There are no licensing costs.
For a quote please provide your complete address, company and contact information. Please note we only accept bank wire tranfers for payment of international orders.

Junction boxes are not included. They are an accessory and specific to each camera model. You can find them on the camera's description page by clicking on the camera name.
Your question was submitted from the build your own system page. You can choose how big of a hard drive you'd like from the drop down on this page once you select the NVR you want. Then choose cameras, and cabling.
