- Amazing quality and analytics Review by Eugene
Before buying this camera I bought a cheaper camera from Amazon. It was no name brand that turned out to be utterly useless. The web interface was buggy and the video did not look sharp. I ended up returning that after I purchased one of these cameras to test. There is a world of difference between how clear the picture is from this camera and cheaper 2K cameras. I did learn my lesson and decided not to cheap out. I am using these to look at 2 inch lettering 40ft away on skids before they are shipped. I used a 2.8 to 12 lens. I was also surprised that this camera has video analytics. I programmed it to record video when a skid was move past a certain point so I could save more video. The setup worked well with a 4 camera network recorder from this company. (Posted on 6/13/19)Value Quality Price - lab use Review by H Young
My university needed a camera to watch an instrument cluster in a clean room remotely. We tried some Lorex cameras but their infrared was getting in the way in our low light environment, and the resolution wasn't that great of their sensor. With the 10-50mm lens option we were able to watch what we needed from 30 feet away with the detail my PI was looking for. We used the free software this company provided over google drive. I was using an older Arecont box camera that was network based with Milestone. I got tired of those cameras outrageous pricing. 4mp cameras are expensive but shouldn't be more than $700. I was this camera was cheaper but the video footage is amazing. I can't complain. Configuration was easy using onvif and milestone picked it up. (Posted on 5/3/17)Price Value Quality

I have the 10-50mm lens. It's plugged into the camera. It is auto focusing correct?
Question by: aaron on: 2017-06-12
Please note manual lenses are not motorized and not autofocus. A motorized 10-50mm 4mp lens would could cost several hundred dollars. You have to loosed the lens adjustment knobs by turning the screw for the knob counter clockwise by 2 turns and then toggle the lens rings for Focus and Zoom.
