This outdoor bullet camera is an analog CCTV camera, which means it outputs video through a BNC connector. It’s an HD analog camera, so you'll need to pair it with a HD security DVR recorders or a compatible DVR of your own that supports the signal types listed in the specifications. Since it’s a 4in1 analog camera, you can set it to multiple signal modes as long as your DVR supports them. We can also set it to your desired signal and resolution type before shipping, in case you don’t have a 5MP TVI DVR on hand.
Outdoor Weather Resistance & Versatile Setup
Built with a durable housing, this outdoor bullet camera offers excellent weather resistance to capture clear video over RG59U siamese cable. It features a built-in mic for audio recording, and dual illumination options that you can control from a compatible DVR. Because this camera is 12VDC, it seamlessly integrates into modern security camera systems. If you have a traditional standard-def CCTV system or monitor, you can ask us to set the camera to CVBS mode before shipping it your way.
5MP Video Quality & Built-in Microphone
This camera has a 5MP image sensor and ships in 5MP TVI mode by default, delivering crisp, detailed footage. Its built-in microphone can pick up ambient audio up to 30 ft, and that audio signal is combined with the video signal over coax when used with a compatible DVR. For the best compatibility and performance, we recommend using one of our Security Cameras Inc brand DVR.
Dual Night Vision Illumination Options
Just like our turret version, this 5MP bullet camera offers two types of illumination at night:
1. White Light LEDs: The camera’s white light LEDs turn on automatically at night to provide color video up to about 66 ft. It’s essentially like having small flood lights on your camera, making it easy to see and identify the color of objects, clothin, and vehicles after dark. This is the default mode set on the camera.
2. Infrared LEDs (IR): For a more discreet approach, the camera can switch to infrared LEDs that provide black and white video up to 100 ft in total darkness. IR night vision uses wavelengths the human eye can’t see, although there is a slight red glow from the IR LEDs—common in any night vision security camera. By accessing the camera's on-screen display menu on a compatible HD DVR, you can choose IR night vision instead of white light if you prefer.

Yes. This Security Cameras Inc camera is an IP-addressable PoE camera, so it can be used with a compatible SCI NVR or as a standalone camera. If you are using it by itself without an NVR, you will need a PoE injector or PoE switch to power the camera and connect it to your network.
After the camera is powered and online, you can scan the camera's P2P code into the SCI View app for live viewing from your phone. If you want the camera to record without an NVR, order it with a compatible microSD card so it can record video clips from event detection.
For alerts, you can configure one supported event detection type through the app or camera settings. Depending on the camera model, this may include regular motion detection, Smart Motion Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Face Detection, or other AI video events listed on the product page.
