This vandal resistant dome camera is the latest in HDCVI cameras to provide a 2K resolution picture when using a 4MP HDCVI DVR. By using RG59 coax from a spool or HD quality premade siamese cables, you can now send better than HD signals over coax wiring. Our HDCVI cameras allow customers with existing analog camera systems a path to upgrade by simply upgrading cameras and recorders while keeping existing cabling infrastructure.
This 4MP Dome camera allows a 4MP HDCVI DVR to record up to real-time at 4MP, 1080p, or 720p. This camera has a 2.7-12mm motorized zoom lens that can be controlled from the recorder, or from the Smartphone App or Computer Software. With the touch of a button you can control the zoom lens of the camera and attain an angle of view as wide as 98° and as narrow as 20°.
This dome camera has 2 IR LEDs that provide up to 100ft of night vision for the camera to see general detail in complete darkness. The crisp, 2K video recording will give you significantly better clarity than 1080P cameras and allows for a clearer, less pixilated digital zoom. With 2K resolution at 80° view you can expect to see a face up to 40ft away when you digitally zoom in on live or recorded video.
Our 4MP HDCVI cameras offer True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, which will recognize and adjust bright/dim areas of your video, such as a light or glare from the sun, without darkening the rest of the objects in frame.
This camera has two separate BNC video outputs, one for HDCVI and one for CVBS output (aka analog) so you can use an analog CCTV tester when installing the camera.

Is there a way to disable the IR illuminator? And if I disable the illuminator, can the camera still see well at night with moonlight?

Using a compatible DVR that can access the HDCVI protocol you can toggle the camera's imaging mode to color only which turns off the IR LEDs. The camera can then see in color mode according to the Lux rating of the image sensor.
