2K 4MP Turret Dome Camera, Zoom Lens, HD over Coax

This turret style eyeball dome camera is a part of our HD analog security camera line capturing 2K 4MP resolution video when used with a HD DVR recorder capable of captuing 4MP CVI video signals. Using good quality RG59 coax from a spool or HD premade siamese cables allows for transmitting two times the resolution of 1080P HD. Our HDCVI technology camera line provides easy upgrade options for customers with existing analog equipment by upgrading cameras and recorders while keeping their existing cabling. This 4MP eyeball dome works with RG59 coax cabling from a spool or HD premade siamese cables, and even with HD video baluns and CAT5e network cabling.

This Turret dome camera requires a 4MP HDCVI DVR to record real-time at 4MP, 1080p, or 720p. The camera has a 2.7-13.5mm manual varifocal lens that can be adjusted using a small flathead screwdriver. With manual adjustment you can rotate the zoom lens of the camera and capture an angle of view as wide as 98° or as narrow as 26°.

20 IR LEDs for night vision allow this 4MP eyeball dome camera to see general detail in low light conditions or even complete darkness up to 100ft. The detailed, 2K video recording records significantly better clarity than 1080P cameras and produces clear, and less pixelated digital zoom. With 2K 4MP resolution at 80° angle view you can see a face up to 40ft away during the day, or 70ft when set to full zoom.

If you're looking to upgrade an older analog security camera you can still use this camera by switching its video output to analog mode (CVBS). While the video will not be 2K in analog mode, it will still be better than an older analog resolution camera since the video is being capture by a 4MP sensor.

What is a Varifocal Zoom Lens?

Varifocal zoom lenses allow the user to adjust the lens manually by hand on the camera to the perfect zoom level (angle of view). After the user has found the sweet spot for angle of view, a varifocal lens also allows for fine focus adjustment. This enables installers or home consumers to rely on their best judgment when installing a camera to find the best possible angle of view to capture potential intruders, or to keep an eye on a particular spot on the property.
