Overview
5MP 4-in-1 Analog Turret Camera - Avalonix BNC turret camera for HD over coax systems, with selectable CVI, TVI, AHD, and CVBS video output.
Manual Zoom Lens - The 2.7-13.5mm varifocal lens adjusts from a wide 111 degree view to a tighter 33 degree view during installation.
115ft IR Night Vision - Built-in IR LEDs provide black-and-white night video up to 115ft, with Smart IR to help control glare.
Coax System Upgrade - Designed for compatible HD DVRs and existing coax cable runs where an IP camera upgrade is not required.
Outdoor Turret Housing - IP66 weather-resistant metal housing supports indoor or outdoor mounting on a wall or ceiling.
Fixed Camera Design - This is a fixed turret camera with an adjustable manual zoom lens, not a PTZ camera.
This 5MP dome turret camera features the newest technologies in analog security cameras, including HD video over coax transmission and a manual zoom lens in a discreet dome camera shape.
This camera is a real gem as it supports 4-in-1 analog camera technology, allowing it to be set to any of the popular analog signal types, including CVI, TVI, AHD, or CVBS. The pigtail has a dip switch that lets you easily select the camera's video signal type without using complicated joysticks or OSD settings. HD surveillance video technology, when used in CVI, AHD, or TVI mode, enables clear resolutions like 5MP and 4MP over RG59U coax, minimizing costs by eliminating the need to replace existing coax cabling when upgrading to HD security camera systems.
Please note that this camera must be used with one of our HD DVRs in order to display and record the HD video signal, or with a BNC to HDMI converter to connect directly to an HD TV or a computer monitor.
This camera is also great for older systems that still use a standard-definition recorder or TV. If your old security camera system still uses 480P or D1 resolution cameras, you can set this camera to CVBS mode for analog-resolution video output, allowing your preexisting DVR system to display and record the video. Also, if you simply need a camera to connect to an RCA or BNC video input, this camera will work in standard-definition CVBS mode. The best part is that you can still adjust the lens since it is a manual zoom lens, unlike our motorized zoom cameras.
The camera is IP66-rated, meaning it is weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. You don't have to worry about mounting it under eaves; it is rugged enough to be mounted anywhere.
When the camera is used in one of the HD video signal modes, the 2.7-13.5mm lens provides a greater-than-100-degree angle of view at 2.7mm and a 33-degree angle of view at 13.5mm. Please note that in CVBS mode, the angle of view is narrower than in HD video modes.
Let's not forget about night vision. The camera has IR LEDs that help it see up to 115 feet in complete darkness.
Please note that this is not a PTZ camera; it is a fixed camera with an adjustable lens.

Product Questions
How does this camera notify you of a possible intruder? Is it motion detected?
Question by: barbara on May 18, 2026, 11:25 AM
Yes. This Security Cameras Inc camera is an IP-addressable PoE camera, so it can be used with a compatible SCI NVR or as a standalone camera. If you are using it by itself without an NVR, you will need a PoE injector or PoE switch to power the camera and connect it to your network.
After the camera is powered and online, you can scan the camera's P2P code into the SCI View app for live viewing from your phone. If you want the camera to record without an NVR, order it with a compatible microSD card so it can record video clips from event detection.
For alerts, you can configure one supported event detection type through the app or camera settings. Depending on the camera model, this may include regular motion detection, Smart Motion Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Face Detection, or other AI video events listed on the product page.
So yes, the camera can notify you of a possible intruder, but the exact alert type depends on which detection rule you enable, whether the camera has a microSD card installed, and how the SCI View app notifications are configured.
