This 4K Resolution NVR offers 32 camera recording capability along with 16 integrated PoE+ ports to get you started. It uses the latest H.265 and H.264 video encoding algorithms, and supports up to 32 IP cameras at resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD. It offers total of 200Mbps incoming bandwidth, which means you can either use it as a recorder for four 4K IP security cameras to record in real time 30fps at 4K resolution, eight 4K cameras at 15fps, or thirty-two of 1080P / 3MP or 4MP IP cameras up to real time 30fps. You can mix and match camera resolutions and frame rate (fps) and record video as long as the total recording bit rate is under 192 Mbps. The NVR also has 2 HDMI outputs that support 4K monitors or TVs so that cameras can be viewed in detail.

This is a 2U rackmountable case that has all the bells and whistles that even a PC based NVR cannot provide. It allows for up to 8 internal SATA DVR hard drives up to 6TB each, for a total of 48TB. Video back-up is easy using the USB 3.0 port. You can even backup video using the FTP upload function to backup to a NAS, or to another NVR. This way, if your main NVR is ever damaged or destroyed, your video footage will still be protected by being saved in another location on another device.

You can connect this and our other 4K camera NVR recorder to motion sensors using its alarm input connections, and attach devices like PA speakers, sirens and strobe lights to its alarm inputs. It comes equipped with 16 alarm input connections and 6 relay outputs. You most likely will not need all of them, but its good to know they are available.

This NVR also offers remote access through its built-in web server that you can log on to using a web browser, mobile device, or the included Free Central Monitoring Software. After little configuration you can receive up-to-date alerts based off of video based motion detection, optional alarm triggers, or video loss. We also include FREE iPhone iPad and Android Apps so your security camera systems are accessible from anywhere in the world.

Customer Reviews

Money well spent Review by Dan Jacobs
After emailing with the techs it turned out that cameras my company had purchased from amazon were not going to work with this NVR. I didn't trust them at first but after receiving the unit, I tested it with the GW cameras I had and turned out the CCTV Camera World tech was correct. I purchased another Hikvision NVR, and found the same issue with the GW cameras. The NVR was able to get video, but there was no motion detection happening. We are in the medicinal cannabis industry and we need good motion detection to alert us when someone enters our growing areas. So I tried one of the 4mp cameras the tech suggested and it worked well for me. I ended up using the bullet camera. The video quality was much better than the amazon camera and motion worked too. Although the cameras were about $20 more than what Amazon had them for, I guess you get what you pay for. Our IP system now works well. (Posted on 7/12/17)

Total 2 question(s)

Will this nvr work with QCN8030D cameras?
Also can the NVR on motion go full screen.

Question by: Robert on: 2017-09-03

The QCN8030D will work fine with this camera. All of our DVRs support targeting of certain channels to be displayed using the tour function when video based motion is detected. You can program the NVR to display a single camera or multiple cameras on motion from a certain camera.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2017-09-04

This NVR has 16 PoE ports, yet it can handle 32 cameras. How are the additional 16 cameras attached to the NVR?

Question by: Dan Johnson on: 2017-10-16

To add 16 additional cameras to this NVR you will need a PoE Switch. If you will be using PTZ cameras, then we suggest our high powered 16 Channel PoE Switch, other our other 16 Port PoE Switch will suffice.
