This 5MP HD Security Camera with Night Vision captures video in 3K 5MP resolution, providing image quality on par with that of IP cameras. An excellent feature of this 3K Analog security camera is its compatibility with commonly available RG59 coax cable. Using a high-quality solid copper conductor RG59 coax cable, the camera's HD security over Coax technology allows the video signal to be run up to 800 feet without signal loss using a compatible HD-DVR recorder. It is a great option for people who want to upgrade to an HD security camera system but do not want to incur the cost of rewiring their home or business with network cabling for IP cameras.

Whether you are upgrading an existing security camera system or putting together a brand-new one, this 5MP HD over Coax camera is a great choice. The 3.6 mm fixed lens on this bullet camera captures a wide 87 degree field of view when in 5MP mode. You can keep watch over your property day & night thanks to the high-intensity super-infrared LED that provides night vision for distances of up to 100 feet.

The camera's metal construction makes it suitable for use in harsh weather conditions without protection from an overhang or eave. With the exception of a hurricane or tornado, you can rely on it to keep functioning no matter the conditions. Mounting options for the camera include a wall, ceiling, or pole. Due to its compact size, it can be used anywhere, including inside. The camera bracket protects the camera pigtail from wire snipping and tampering.

The camera also has an on-screen display menu (OSD) that can be controlled using a DVR or XVR when the camera is in HD mode. The OSD allows fine control of the video brightness, contrast, gain, and other key video features.

This camera supports a variety of video signal types thanks to its 4-in-1 switchable TVI/ AHD / CVI / CVBS technology. You can choose 5MP in TVI or AHD mode, 4MP in HDCVI mode, or analog CVBS video output for compatibility with a standard-definition older 480P, D1, or 960H DVR. To switch the video signal type, there is a convenient dip-switch located on the pigtail.

Compatibility note: the camera does support 1080P mode in CVI/TVI/AHD mode but requires a compatible 5MP DVR to access the OSD menu to lower the resolution. If you have a DVR that supports a max of 1080P resolution, please contact us after placing the order to set it to the desired resolution. Otherwise the camera will ship in 5MP mode.
