3K 5MP Outdoor Analog Turret Camera, Night Vision

This 3K 5MP turret dome camera is one of our latest HD analog cameras that works over coaxial cabling. It captures video at 5MP, which is a higher resolution than 4MP 2K, and is a part of our 4-in-1 series. Our 4-in-1 cameras have the ability to switch to the most common coaxial video signals, so they can work with most DVRs out there, including HDCVI, HD-TVI, AHD, and CVBS. You can set the camera to work with almost any DVR, but we recommend pairing it with one of our HD Analog DVR recorders for optimal performance. Using this camera with our DVR and solid copper coaxial siamese cable means you can run it up to a staggering 1600 feet away! These HD upgrades over coax technology have resulted in cameras that can compete with IP cameras, which is excellent for anyone who doesn't want to go through the cost and effort of rewiring their home or business to achieve an HD security camera system.

The camera’s 5MP 3K image sensor records video at 2592x1944 resolution, producing visual clarity that is over double the standard high-definition 1080P. Even at the lower resolution of 960H CVBS mode, the camera surpasses the performance of traditional analog cameras. In daylight, the camera's 3.6mm lens and sensor combine to provide a viewing angle of 77.5 degrees, enabling it to see facial detail up to 30 feet away. In the dark, the camera automatically switches to black-and-white and beams infrared light up to 100 feet away with its 12 IR LEDs.

This camera, with support for the older analog signal type CVBS, is also a great choice if you need a camera to work with old systems in restaurants and healthcare facilities. Simply let us know what your DVR is, and we’ll set the camera to the right mode to work for you.

Its low-profile design, measuring around 3.6 inches in diameter and 3.1 inches in height, makes it an excellent choice for securing areas that require a smaller, more inconspicuous camera. With an IP67 weather-resistant rating, you can use the camera indoors or outdoors without worrying about rain, and you can install it without any overhang or eaves. The camera can be wall or ceiling mounted, and we recommend that you protect the pigtail in the camera’s bracket or tuck it in the wall or ceiling to prevent vandalism to the wiring.

The camera also has an on-screen display menu (OSD) that can be controlled through our DVR systems, or other compatible 3rd party recorders where available. The OSD will allow you to toggle the video signal output, resolution, video brightness, contrast, gain control, and other key video features.

Compatibility note: some older DVR or XVR may require a firmware update to be compatible with the latest 4MP/5MP CVI protocol. Such firmware is unavailable for older video recorders.
