The camera features a 5MP Video Sensor that delivers high-resolution 3K images. It supports both H.265 and H.264 encoding methods and offers Triple Stream Video Encoding, including Mainstream, Substream, and Mobilestream for versatile usage. The 2.8mm fixed lens with a 110° horizontal field of view ensures broad coverage, along with the high-quality image sensor that captures every detail in view.

Up to 100 feet of infrared night vision makes it possible to capture detailed images even in the darkness of the night. The camera has several image enhancement technologies, such as WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to compensate for glare or uneven lighting and 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR), which improves image clarity.

See how this 5MP fixed-lens turret performs in a real scene. The overview includes daytime footage to gauge framing at the 110 deg wide view and a night segment that demonstrates its IR reach. In our tests, we captured usable facial detail at about 27 ft during the day, and the night clip shows clear black-and-white visibility out to roughly 100 ft.

The camera also offers video-based motion detection, allowing its users to keep a vigilant eye on movement in the area. Furthermore, it is a smart security camera with AI Smart Video Analytics, which includes a choice of Face Detection, Human & Vehicle Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Cross Counting, Stationary Object Detection, Heat Map, Crowd Density Detection, Queue Length Detection, License Plate Detection, or Rare Sound Detection.

The built-in microphone is designed with a 25-foot radius audio pick-up range tested in a quiet environment, adding an extra layer of security if you enable sound detection. The built-in web server, accessible over the LAN, ensures ease of configuration and management if the camera is used without an NVR. It conforms to ONVIF S, G, and T profiles for integration with third-party software. Note AI detection is only available when used with a compatible Security Cameras Inc NVR.

The MicroSD Slot supports up to 256GB for ample storage space (MicroSD card sold separately). Purchasing the camera with a MicroSD card is useful if the camera is being used on its own for a few days of recording or in a system as a backup if the recorder is broken or stolen.

Designed for outdoor use, the camera has an IP67 weather-resistant rating. For longer-distance transmission, it is also ePoE-capable with Security Cameras Inc. NVRs. It can also run on regular PoE from a switch or 12 VDC from a nearby outlet. The camera has a ceiling mount design, and additional mounts are also available for a variety of installation scenarios.
