The camera has an 8MP Video Sensor, ensuring clear, sharp, and high-definition 4K visuals. It offers H.265 or H.264 encoding methods, and the inclusion of H.265+ provides up to 70% bandwidth savings over traditional H.264, maximizing efficiency. The device offers triple stream video encoding, which allows you to select between Mainstream, Substream, and Mobile-stream based on your viewing needs, whether you’re on-site with the recorder or viewing the camera with the remote viewing app.
The camera's 5X motorized 2.7-13.5mm lens provides a 111° - 33° angle of view, which allows for flexible coverage of the monitored area. Coupled with up to 148 feet of infrared night vision and Smart IR technology, it captures great visuals, even in low-light conditions at night.
Please note this is not a PTZ camera, only the zoom length of the camera can be adjusted.
Additional features like WDR for glare compensation and 3D Noise Reduction all contribute to the superior video quality this camera provides. Moreover, video-based motion detection and region of interest settings enhance the precision and adaptability of the surveillance process.
This Motorized Zoom Turret Camera also has integrated AI Smart Video Analytics, providing a choice of Face Recognition, Human & Vehicle Detection, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Cross Counting, Stationary Object Detection, Heat Map, Crowd Density Detection, Queue Length Detection, License Plate Detection, or Rare Sound Detection. This intelligent suite of features ensures proactive and efficient monitoring.
For advanced users, the camera has connections for optional add-on security camera microphones, two-way audio kit, and hardwired alarm sensors.
For user convenience or standalone use, the camera also includes a built-in web server accessible over LAN and supports up to 256GB microSD cards (sold separately) for on-board storage space.
The camera is compliant with ONVIF S, G, and T profiles for interoperability with systems and software that can connect to ONVIF devices. Note AI detection is only available when used with a compatible Security Cameras Inc NVR.
Its robust design, with an IP67 weather resistance rating, makes it suitable for outdoor use, and its power options include 12VDC or PoE. For extended PoE, the camera is compatible with Security Cameras Inc NVRs.
The turret design provides flexibility for mounting on a wall or ceiling. All of these features combined make this 4K motorized zoom turret dome an ideal choice for comprehensive and efficient surveillance.
