This 4K IP Dome Camera is a next-generation upgrade of our previous 4K varifocal dome camera model IPC4K18GDMZ. It retains the same superior image quality and advanced features, but now includes a 5X optical zoom lens and a discreet dome-style design for easier installation and orientation. With its UltraHD 4K video resolution, this camera is perfect for both residential and commercial applications where detailed facial identification is paramount.

This dome camera boasts the Avalonix Premium platform, allowing you to view it remotely over the internet from your smartphone, computer, or an NVR. Its motorized 2.7-13.5mm optical zoom lens can be controlled from an Avalonix NVR, smartphone, or computer, giving you the power to set a wide-angle overview or zoom in tight for detailed facial recognition. At its widest angle of 113°, you can identify facial detail up to 35ft away, and when fully zoomed in at 13.5mm (31°), you can achieve facial recognition up to 100ft away¹.

It provides color images in low ambient lighting conditions and automatically switches to black & white mode when it’s completely dark. Like other advanced 4K security cameras in our lineup, this camera features powerful video analytics compatible with our 4K NVR systems. These include Tripwire and Intrusion Detection for reducing false alerts and enhancing the reliability of motion-based recording. With AI-driven smart event detection, you can minimize unnecessary notifications and focus on events that truly matter.

ONVIF support ensures that this camera integrates well with a wide range of third-party software and recorders. However, to harness the full power of its optical zoom and advanced video analytics, we recommend pairing it with one of the Avalonix NVR recorders. From the NVR, you can seamlessly control the zoom lens and configure all camera parameters.

To conserve storage space while maintaining UltraHD quality, this camera supports the latest H.265 encoding with Smart Codec+ technology. With H.265+, expect up to a 70% reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements compared to standard H.264.

Simple PoE Installation

One ethernet cable transmits power, video, and data up to 320ft without the need for a repeater. Advanced Image Features

This 4K Dome Camera with optical zoom lens has advanced image features that will handle almost any lighting or low-light situation you throw at it. It features WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to offset bright and dark portions of an image simultaneously, giving you a balanced and recognizable video image. This camera also features Backlight Compensation (BLC) to enhance a foreground object with bright light behind it and Highlight Compensation (HLC) to help with video that has extreme light in the foreground.

Video Analytics

The functionality and technical capability of CCTV Camera World's security cameras has evolved beyond basic functions such as motion detection recording. Those features are still available with this 4K security camera but now, also included are Video Analytics that distinguish our cameras as Smart Cameras. When used with our 4K NVRs, features such as Tripwire and Intrusion detection allow for more reliable detection than classic video based motion events.

Clear Video in Low-Light Situations

This 4K Camera uses 3DNR (3-Dimensional Noise Reduction) technology for producing enhanced video in low-light conditions. In these situations, most cameras provide an image that’s grainy and blurry. That’s not the case with this powerhouse of a security camera. Record uncompromising 4K video in low-light conditions or when recording motion to give you a level of clarity that other cameras cannot match.

See in Color at Night

Not only does this camera have features that allow for clear images in low-light conditions, but it can also record color video at night with the presence of ambient light, thanks to the camera’s 0.008 Low Lux sensitivity. During instances of complete darkness, the camera will automatically switch to black and white to provide stellar 4K nighttime video with up to 130ft of night vision.

Weather Resistant Design

Some customers are apprehensive about leaving their security cameras outside in the elements, but there is no need to worry with this camera. It has an outdoor rating of IP67, meaning it can withstand outdoor weather, such as wind, rain, snow, and dust. It can even operate in temperatures as cold as -22°F or as hot as 140°F. The metal casing is designed to keep the camera protected at all times.
