You can use them as part of a closed-circuit PoE camera system with an NVR, or run them on a local network with or without a recorder. An internet connection is only needed if you want to access your cameras remotely from outside your network.

Most of our cameras support onboard microSD card recording, so you can store video locally without any extra equipment. Look for SD card support in the product description or browse our standalone security cameras.
