This powerful HD over Coax camera has a 2MP image sensor that produces 1080P HD video. 2MP Resolution security footage provides good detail by providing the ability to use digital zoom on recorded or live footage when use with a HD DVR. With our HDCVI cameras such as this, you can easily get HD quality video using simple RG59U coaxial cable that has BNC connections. No matter if you are looking to install a new system, or upgrade your old system, cameras like this HDCVI 2MP security camera are an affordable choice when paired with a HDCVI DVR.

Unlike almost all other security cameras, this camera is dual voltage. For customers replacing older analog cameras that are 24VAC or with long distance runs above 300ft, this camera's dual voltage feature allows use of 24VAC to power the camera.

The camera takes it's HD video another step by having a motorized zoom lens. With its 5X optical zoom lens the user can see farther than traditional surveillance cameras on the market. Not only is the lens motorized, it can be controlled from the DVR or using the mobile app connected to the DVR, which is super convenience for users to adjust the camera's field of view after installation. At the widest 2.7mm setting, the camera provides a wide angle view of 108.7 degrees with the ability to recognize a face up to 25ft away. When zoomed in all the way to the 13.5mm setting, the camera provides a 28.7 degree angle of view with the ability to recognize a face up to 100ft. These distances were measured during the day with the camera recording at 2MP resolution and 30fps.

Starlight technology allows this camera to see in color in very low light

Complimenting the HD video is Starlight Technology that allows for color capture in lowlight at dusk and at night with adequate ambient lighting. In conditions as low as 0.004 Lux the camera will stay in color mode. In complete darkness or where there is little ambient lighting the camera will switch to black and white night mode. To help the camera see in complete darkness there are 2 Super IR LEDs that provide night vision up to 100ft away.

The camera also has True WDR (120dB) which provides improvements for video capture with varying light levels. For example, this is useful in situations where the camera is used inside in an office and looking towards an entrance or window.

1080P HDCVI signals can be transmitted up to 1600ft on RG59U solid copper cable and 800ft via use of HD video baluns on bare copper CAT6 cable. Video, and audio (where available) can be transmitted over a single coax wire using HDCVI technology. This camera offers HDCVI or analog (CVBS) video output using the built-in OSD through a HD DVR or UTC controller. You can set the camera to analog CVBS video output for testing, or you can even connect this camera to an older DVR to record 480P video.

This dome shaped camera can be mounted by itself on a drop ceiling. There are optional wall, ceiling and pole mounts available as well. It is IP67 weather resistant rated. Its construction and glass are rated and tested to meet IK10 impact and vandal resistance standards. It is suitable for outdoor or indoor use without the need for additional protections. It is also dual voltage and supports 12VDC or 24VAC power input.

I currently have 4 outdoor cameras model CMD715 that say they are NTSC signal system.
First what does NTSC mean in relation to the 4 in 1 for camera selection on your page.
I need to replace all 4 cameras and want ones that will just hook up to the existing BNC and have excellent night vision. Which cameras that you sell would be a good replacement. Thanks

Question by: Tom on: 2019-03-08

NTSC is simply the video standard used in the United States. PAL is used in Europe and Asia. Our security cameras are NTSC unless otherwise requested or specified. 4-in-1 relates to a camera being able to support older CVBS (Analog) and newer HD over Coax signal types. Your old cameras and recorder are Analog (CVBS) signal type only, in other words they will not work with something that is HD-only. This means that 4-in-1 security cameras are what you are looking for.

The 1080P 2MP Dome Camera is a good replacement without manual zoom.

The Dual voltage 1080P Dome security camera is a good replacement with manual zoom, which is the one you inquired about.
