This is a mini Infrared IP network pan tilt zoom camera with 2 megapixels of resolution and 4X optical zoom. It is equipped with a 1/2.8" 2 megapixel CMOS image sensor that provides high definition 1080P video, and a 2.7- 11mm varifocal motorized lens that provides 4X optical zoom which can be controlled remotely from the NVR, your smartphone, or PC. You can expect up to 70ft of facial detail, and 100ft of night vision. The camera also has Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR) to compensate for glare.
This PTZ camera can be powered by a 12V DC power supply, or PoE (power over Ethernet) when connected to one of PoE NVR recorders which provides easy plug and play connections for any of our ip cameras. It offers H.264 video compression to provide the latest in video compression technology so the video is clear and makes the best use of bandwidth. It has the capability of capturing a still license plate without artifacts up to 40 feet away. The camera has dual-stream encoding, where the main stream is a higher resolution that is recorded on the NVR recorder and the sub-stream is lower resolution for streaming on to a smartphone to save bandwidth.
As with all of our ip cameras, it has its own built in web server, along with the capability of local recording to a microSD card up to 64GB, and is great as a standalone camera or as part of an IP security camera system. One thing to note is that the wide angle on this camera is capable of picking up clear objects that are 6 inches away. Most cameras get very blurry at such a short focal length. It is intended for indoor use, and has a built-in microphone making it ideal for schools, retail stores and offices, and indoor areas like warehouses.

Yes. Our professional Avalonix IP cameras support audio detection, and this setting can be managed through the camera’s built-in web interface.
To access these options, the user would open a web browser such as Chrome or Firefox on a Mac or PC that is connected to the same local network as the camera. After logging into the camera through the browser, they can go into the settings menu and turn audio detection on or off as needed.
In simple terms, audio detection lets the camera listen for sound changes in the area and respond when noise reaches a level you set. Through the web interface, the user can enable the feature, adjust how sensitive it is, set the threshold for what should count as an audio event, and choose what the camera should do when sound is detected. For example, the camera can be set to trigger recording or capture a snapshot when an audio event occurs.
