2.4GHz 5dBi Omni Antenna for WiFi Cameras

5dbi Omni-directional Antenna for use with WiFi security cameras that use the 2.4GHz band. An omni-directional antenna such as this transmits wireless signals in a 360 degree field, as opposed to a directional antenna that transmits the wireless signal in one direction. This omni antenna helps increase the reception strength for wireless security cameras to mitigate signal issues due to obstructions. The antenna has a standard polarity SMA connector as pictured in the product image. Be sure your camera will work with that connector type before purchasing.

Please note the use of this antenna helps in improving signal reception, it will not increase the working distance of the wireless camera. WiFi cameras usually come with 3dbi omni antennas. Every 3dbi increase in antenna gain doubles the gain on the camera.
