This 4K security camera dome is a sibling of our Vandal and Impact Resistant 4K Security Camera. It has a similar image sensor and features, making it ideal for use in applications around a home or business where the power off zoom combined with 4K video is needed. Since it is IP67 weather proofing rated, you can use it both indoors and outdoors. This UltraHD 4K dome camera is a customer favorite for monitoring employee performance where you need to have a close up view of paperwork or a computer screen.

Like our other 4K security cameras, at its wide angle of view this camera can identify facial detail up to 50ft away in live or recorded video at 4K resolution. When in live-view mode, this 4K camera's optical zoom lens is motorized and can be easily adjusted from the NVR, smartphone, or computer to set the field of view on a particular subject. At full optical zoom you can recognize a face up to 130ft away. The crisp clear video provided by this camera is truly one of the best in the security camera industry and is excellent in cases where facial capture is key for identification and prosecution of a perpetrator.

This 4K dome camera is an IP camera, so you can watch it over the internet from your smartphone, computer, or an NVR. It is also available with internal microSD storage to function as a standalone camera.

Its also one of our AI security cameras that have powerful video analytics for smart event detection. By using either a virtual tripwire or intrusion box, you can minimize motion events and reduce false motion alerts to your phone.

Since it is ONVIF support, you can also record its video stream from many software platforms on the market. But if you want to control and reap the benefits of the features this camera has to offer, then you will need a compatible NVR that we carry. By using one of our NVR recorders you will be able to easily control the optical zoom lens, set camera parameters, and take advantage of the Video Analytics and motion detection features of the camera.

Let's not forget, if video storage space is a concern, you can utilize the camera's H.265 video encoding ability along with scene adaptive optimization provided by Smart Codec+ technology. With H.265+ you can expect up to 70% in storage and bandwidth savings.

Actual range and image clarity depends on installation location, viewing area, and light reflection / absorption level of object. In low light, the camera will switch to black and white.
