For 2020 and beyond, the Outdoor 4K Dome Camera has a Starlight image sensor for enhanced low light sensitivity and Smart Detection features that provide video analytics usable on the camera itself or with one of our compatible NVR recorders.

This all new economical 4K Security Camera allows for video recordings that can be digitally zoomed into while maintaining clarity. Being 4K resolution, the picture size is large, allowing you to digitally zoom in and recognize a face up to 40ft away with this 4K dome camera. You can use digital zoom on the camera through the web interface, mobile app, or the NVR to magnify video of interest during live view or playback as shown in our video here.

This outdoor dome camera comes standard with a 3.6mm lens that provides a 87 degree angle of view, and has a Super IR LED to provide night vision up to 100ft. With an IP67 weatherproof rated design this camera works for indoor or outdoor surveillance, and live streaming projects. This camera's 4K video resolution is complemented by video enhancments like True WDR, 3DNR and BLC. If you're on a tight budget and want a 4K security camera for surveillance applications or for streaming over the web, we suggest you get one of these.

For the best compatibility and feature set we recommend you build a complete 4K IP camera system using one of our PoE NVRs. A full system will enable you to take advantage of the advanced video analytics for more robust detection based recording. For best compatibility and ease of use we recommend using one of our 4K NVRs which also support H.265 for bandwidth savings.

If you're using just one camera as standalone, you can use either a PoE injector, PoE Switches, or a 12V DC power adaptor. The camera has a slot inside of the dome which can support a microSD card up to 256GB. Since this is an IP camera, it can be streamed directly to your computer using our free PC/Mac viewing software or a web browser as shown in this guide, mobile phone, or tablet device. We include our free Windows/Mac software suite to view video, or you can use any third-party video recording suite that accepts ONVIF compatible IP cameras. The video streams are adjustable for saving storage space, remote viewing bandwidth, or live streaming.

That's right, live streaming! This 4K dome camera comes with a built-in RTMP service to send it's video data directly to Twitch. Since this camera does not have a microphone, it will not work with YouTube Live. Actual range and image clarity depends on installation location, viewing area, and light reflection / absorption level of object. In low light, the camera will switch to black and white.
