Its built-in microphone and optional two-way audio capabilities ensure clear communication, while its range of smart video analytics ensures precise event detection with minimal false alerts. Resilient against both weather conditions, with its IP67 rating, and potential vandalism due to its IK10 rating, the camera offers reliability in diverse settings. Simplified connectivity via PoE, versatile viewing platforms, and NDAA compliance round out its impressive feature set, making it an optimal choice for both residential and commercial security needs.

4K Ultra HD Video An 8MP Progressive Scan CMOS Image Sensor powers this camera, which records clear 4K video at a steady 20 frames per second. To give you an idea of its power, the camera can capture facial details up to 57 feet at the wide 2.8mm setting and up to 150 feet at full zoom. Advanced image features, including True WDR, BLC, HLC, and 3DNR, offer enhanced video quality in varied lighting conditions. With H.265+ video encoding, you can enjoy up to 70% bandwidth savings compared to H.264, ensuring efficient data transfer and storage.
Optical Zoom This comes equipped with an optical zoom lens that provides the ability to effortlessly zoom in and out. With its 2.8–12mm lens, the camera offers 4X zoom. At the widest setting of 2.8mm, the view spans 107.4°, narrowing down to 29.2° at maximum zoom. On top of optical zoom, our cameras also provide a digital zoom feature, blowing up specific areas of video for more detailed inspection. It's essential to recognize the difference between optical and digital zoom. Optical zoom does actual magnification by physically adjusting the lens and can only alter the viewing angle in real-time. Digital zoom expands the image in real-time or during playback of recorded footage, which will result in pixelation. You can learn more about the difference between optical zoom and digital zoom in the AvaEye security camera system guide.
Starlight Starlight technology is a highlight of this camera, boasting an impressive 0.0025 Lux rating. This advancement enhances the camera's image sensor, enabling it to produce full-color video even in dimly lit scenarios. For those seeking to record footage during twilight or in low-light environments, this technology is nothing short of a game changer. However, it's worth noting that while Starlight does benefit from some ambient lighting—like that from street lamps or nearby floodlights—in total darkness, the camera will switch to IR mode.
Night Vision Whether day or night, the camera automatically switches between color and black and white modes based on ambient lighting. In the darkness at night, the camera's infrared LEDs provide up to 131 feet of IR night vision for black-and-white video, making sure your premises are monitored even in complete darkness.
Built-in Microphone and Audio Out For those interested in audio surveillance, the camera's built-in microphone ensures clear audio pickup, covering up to 30 feet in a quiet environment. On top of having a microphone, this camera also has an audio output for an optional speaker that can be used with our two way audio kit for two-way audio via the mobile app, PC software.
Smart Camera Your security concerns vary, and this smart camera offers several smart video analytics focused on reliable detection with fewer false alerts, including Line Crossing, Intrusion Box, Enter or Leave Area, People Counting, and Face Detection. It also features Smart Motion Detection which provides the ultimate convenience and simplicity in detecting motor and non-motor vehicles and human bodies inside an area that is set by the user on the camera. Additionally, audio detection makes sure that recording starts and alerts you if it hears an unexpected noise based on the parameters you set.
Power over Ethernet Thanks to PoE connectivity, video and power transmission are simplified over a single CAT5e cable, reaching distances up to 300 feet. For those requiring extended transmission, the camera also supports extended PoE technology, allowing for up to 820 feet of distance for power and video when used with solid copper CAT6 cable.
Many Ways to Watch and Record Accessibility is made simple, allowing users to view footage via a AvaEye NVR, web browser, AvaEye PC/Mac software, or AvaEye App for smartphones and tablets. For storage flexibility, the camera can record to multiple destinations: a dedicated AvaEye NVR, the AvaEye computer software for PC/Mac, or an internal MicroSD of up to 256GB.
Weather Resistant Its IP67 weatherproof rating ensures it's resilient in both indoor and outdoor scenarios, regardless of weather. Constructed with a robust combination of metal and plastic, this camera is built to last.
Vandal Resistant This dome camera boasts an IK10 rating, ensuring protection against vandalism and tampering. Designed to withstand deliberate force by being impact resistant, its resilient build will help to provide continued operation even in high-risk areas where the camera may be within reach.
NDAA Compliant Need NDAA-compliant cameras? NDAA refers to the National Defense Authorization Act, which in recent years has limited the use of various surveillance equipment brands within federal and military facilities. This restriction extends to non-profits and businesses that receive federal funding or have contracts with the US Federal Government. With NDAA-compliant status, this camera offers peace of mind, ensuring you are in compliance when making a purchase.
AvaEye AvaEye cameras and NVRs are made to connect effortlessly with each other, ensuring a streamlined plug-and-play process. Using a compatible NVR not only offers users an easy setup but also allows you to take advantage of advanced video analytics and optimized surveillance from a PC/Mac or mobile device. Opt for a solution that elevates and simplifies your residential or commercial security setup.
