This listing is for one open-box used Avalonix 8 channel 4K PoE network video recorder. The recorder is sold without its original retail box. The base purchase includes the NVR and power cord only. A hard drive is not included unless a new hard drive is selected when ordering.

8 Channel PoE Recording for Home or Business

This Avalonix NVR supports up to eight compatible IP security cameras and includes eight built-in PoE+ ports. Connect a compatible PoE camera directly to the recorder with CAT5e or CAT6 cable and the same cable carries power, video, and network data. It is a straightforward way to build or replace an 8-camera recorder for a home, office, store, or other small business surveillance system.

The recorder supports compatible cameras up to 8MP / 4K resolution, H.265 and H.264 video encoding, and up to 200Mbps total recording bandwidth. It can be paired with compatible 4K security cameras or other supported IP cameras.

Choose a New Hard Drive or Buy the Recorder Without Storage

The base open-box recorder does not include a hard drive. Select no HDD if you already have compatible surveillance storage, or choose a new surveillance hard drive when ordering. A new hard drive selected with the recorder will be installed before shipment.

The recorder has two SATA III hard drive bays with published support for up to 6TB per bay and 12TB total. You can also browse our DVR and NVR surveillance hard drives.

Local Recording Without Required Monthly Storage Fees

With a hard drive installed, the NVR records video locally without requiring a monthly cloud-storage subscription. Recording modes include continuous, scheduled, motion-triggered, alarm, and compatible smart-detection events.

HDMI and VGA outputs support local monitor viewing. Recorded video can be backed up through USB or downloaded over the network. Free mobile viewing and Windows/Mac software provide remote access when the recorder is connected to the internet.

Smart Events and Camera Compatibility

When paired with compatible Avalonix cameras, the recorder supports intelligent video events including Tripwire, Intrusion, Abandoned or Missing Object, Scene Change, Face Detection, People Counting, and Heat Map where supported by the camera.

This open-box used recorder includes a 30-day warranty and a 30-day return policy. The 30-day warranty replaces the standard warranty shown on the new version of this recorder.
