This is a professional 16 Channel NVR with 16 PoE ports (Power over Ethernet) that make it as simple as possible to setup IP network cameras. Using a single network CAT5e/CAT6 cable you can not only power our IP cameras, but also receive video, audio, and data. You can choose from a variety of PoE network cameras we offer, ranging from 1080P IP security cameras to 4K security cameras.

Inside this professional NVR there are 2 SATA ports that accept up to two hard drives. Each drive can be up to 6TB in capacity. This NVR is small in size and easy to stow away in a storage or IT closet.

It is powered by a powerful dual-core processor and a embedded Linux operating system that stays virus free. The user interface is easy to use using the included mouse, making it simple to connect your cameras, set recording schedules, and motion detection schedules. The 16 camera professional NVR also offers 2 video outputs (HDMI, and VGA) so you can connect up to 2 monitors displaying the same screen. Let's not forget, this NVR also has 4 alarm inputs should you choose to tie in PIR motion sensors for precise on motion detection.

Video backups are easy to do. They can be done locally at the NVR using a USB drive, or external USB DVD burner. You can even download video from the unit over the network or internet using the included FREE CMS software for Windows and Mac computers.

This NVR with built-in PoE switch comes with FREE Lifetime Technical Support by our expert staff. All the cameras we sell at CCTV Camera World are compatible with our NVR recorders, and DVR. If you are looking for compatibility with cameras purchased elsewhere, please be sure to review our IP camera compatibility list.

Total 9 question(s)

will this nvr work with q see ip cameras

Question by: rob on: 2016-12-15

It depends as Q-See uses a couple of different factories to source their products. What is the model of the Q-See IP camera that you have?

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2016-12-15

Does this work with the Funlux wireless cameras?

Question by: Coal on: 2017-04-19

Sorry it does not.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2017-04-24

I have a qsee 8 camera system. The DVR harddrive has quit. I want to replace the DVR with one of yours but I want to also use the cameras I have, plus have the ability to add 4 to 8 of the IP cameras in the future. My model # is QC908 8 Channel HD.

Question by: James Davidson on: 2017-10-05

You submitted this questions on an NVR page. An NVR is for recording IP cameras. The system model you stated is for security cameras that are HD over coax. Please see our Tribrid DVR category to pick a suitable DVR for use with your old cameras.

Hello, I have a LaView 16 Channel NVR (LV-N9916C6E) and was thinking about replacing the NVR with this. My cameras are LaView/Hikvision (LV-PB932F4). Are these compatible?

Question by: Vince on: 2018-03-20

Hikvision cameras are compatible with our NVRs, however depending on firmware and year of production, the ability to record on motion will vary.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2018-03-20

Is it possible to be connected to a monitor with vga output and also use hdmi to connect another tv location with this nvr?

Question by: Stephen Frazier on: 2018-03-26

Yes you can.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2018-03-28

Can this be rack mounted?

Question by: James on: 2018-10-22

This is not a rack mount unit. Only the 4 SATA and 8 SATA units are rack mountable. However, you can always use a rack mount shelf to place it inside a rack.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2018-10-22

WIll this NVR work with a Axis 221 POE camera?

Question by: Gordon on: 2019-01-11

The Axis 221 is a very old camera since it only supports mjpeg and mpeg4. NVRs these days only support h.264 or h.265 video. The only way to know would be if you DMZ one camera, and provide us an external IP address, username, and password to test the camera with the NVR.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2019-01-11

Can this do 60fps at 1080p? Can it do 60fps at anything higher than 1080p?

Question by: Steven on: 2019-01-25

The recording capability of our NVRs is based on total encoding bit rate up to the stated resolution in the specs of the NVR. Recording capability is not to be judged based on a certain FPS as that is for DVRs. This NVR can support up to 60fps even at 3MP as long as:

  • The camera produces a 60fps 3mp stream

  • The camera is compatible to our NVR, i.e. it is purchased from our website

This 3MP High frame rate camera produces a 60fps stream.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2019-01-25

I have Zmodo wireless cameras and I need more channels than the 8 I have on my NVR. Will this NVR work with the cameras I already have?

Question by: Joe Smo on: 2019-03-25

Unfortunately Zmodo cameras only reliably work with Zmodo NVRs.
