The camera produces incredible 2K video quality thanks to its high-end Starlight 4MP image sensor, ready to capture fine details up to 800 feet away at full zoom. At night, in complete darkness, there are six infrared LEDs that provide night vision up to 330 feet away.

Audio and Alarm Connections

Not only does it have all the video and smart AI features that matter in today’s world, but the camera also has audio and alarm inputs and outputs. Audio hookups let you add an optional microphone for recording audio, a speaker for sounding out alarms, or both for two-way audio interactions. 2K Video with Night Vision and 25X Zoom

The 4MP 2K video that this camera produces has a resolution that is twice that of standard 1080P HD video. The 25X motorized optical zoom lens offers zoom settings between 5 and 125mm that allow you to capture detail from faces at distances as close as 40 feet, or as far away as 800 feet at full 25X zoom, from the camera. At 25X zoom, recognizing objects is possible from up to 1640 feet, and you could observe the movement of an object from an astonishing 3240 feet away.

Starlight technology in the image sensor means that in scenes that have some ambient lighting at night, the camera stays in color video mode. When darkness falls and ambient light is not bright enough, the camera automatically switches on its six high-powered infrared LEDs to beam IR light up to 330 feet for black-and-white general detail capture.

Use with an NVR as part of a system

This camera works best as part of a security camera system paired with an NVR for long-term storage. With an NVR at the heart of the system, you can add additional PTZ cameras or combine this model with other fixed and motorized zoom lens Avalonix Premium Series IP cameras to create a comprehensive security system with all the features you need.

Use standalone as a web camera

This 25X 2K 4MP PTZ can also be used as a standalone web camera with its built-in web interface for viewing and management. The plugin-free web interface is compatible with modern web browsers such as Chrome or Edge on Windows and Mac computers, allowing for easy control and viewing of the video from the camera. By typing the IP address assigned to the camera, you can view the camera from a PC on the local network. 

There’s also PC software and a remote viewing app for smartphones that can provide direct access to the camera’s video feed without a recorder. A microSD card slot supporting up to 512GB in the camera allows you to record continuous video for up to 12 days before automatic overwriting occurs, and much longer when using an event-based recording schedule.

Smart Camera with AI video analytics

The days of getting false alerts and useless recordings from traditional video-based motion detection are over. With this PTZ, you’ll have access to the latest AI-enabled detection features. These algorithms let you create and define rules within the camera view that actively monitor the areas you choose to trigger recordings, send alerts, and activate the auto-tracking function. With tripwire, intrusion, and cross-fence detection, you have the ability to define specific areas in a PTZ preset view, which will trigger when trespassed. Smart Motion Detection, another included analytic, is a massive improvement over older motion detection, as it intelligently analyzes video for motion from specific objects rather than triggering from shadows, foliage, or insects. Auto-tracking of Humans and Vehicles
