This HDCVI camera is the 1080P version of the 720P Long Range Night Vision Camera. It is very similar in all the features except this camera offers even higher resolution video - a Full HD 1080P. This HD security camera uses HDCVI technology to provide clear crisp high definition video that can be run over regular coax RG59U or better up to a distance of 1600ft without needing a repeater. It has a 2.8-12mm manual zoom lens that can be adjusted by hand at the camera to attain a viewing angle between 90° and 20° when zoomed in all the way. At 1080P resolution recording, you can expect to see facial detail up to 25ft at 80° view (4mm setting), and up to 50ft at 20° view when set at 12mm. For general viewing with lots of night vision, this is the perfect camera. There are 10 super high intensity infrared LEDs that provide the camera with night vision to see general detail up to 300ft, and the camera can see even farther at night if there is ambient illumination.

This is a rugged security camera as it is IP66 weather proof rated, meaning it can be used outdoors in the elements without needing any cover from rain, snow, or dirt. The camera also has a 3-axis bracket that allows it to be mounted on a ceiling, wall, or pole in virtually any angle. The camera is also vandal resistant; it video/power pigtail passes through the metal mounting bracket making it resistant to tampering.

As compared to IP cameras which are more expensive and require wiring to be redone with CAT5e or CAT6, HDCVI cameras such as this long range night vision camera are the preferred choice looking to upgrade their existing security camera system.

If your are looking for a 1080p HD security camera with the most night vision distance possible, then we recommend this camera.

Can this camera using the BNC video output be contacted to an NVR that wireless that can contact to my WiFi?

If so what NVR do you suggest?

Question by: Mark on: 2016-10-06

You will need a DVR not NVR to connect this camera to:
Click here to view compatible DVR

Once you connect your DVR to your WiFi router, then you can access it over WiFi on the local network, or if you have internet, you can access wirelessly from anywhere. The DVR itself is not wireless, it is the router you have that makes it wireless accessible at home or outside.

I need a 180ft to 200ft night vision camera. I like the 300ft camera but I need the camera kit that has the DVR with the camera. Do you have one with at least 180ft in total darkness with a kit.?
We have had our mailbox torn down twice and the police said put a security camera on it. My driveway to the camera is 170 ft. I want something simple to hook up and to go view afterwards. I no nothing about BNC'S AND NVR'S...I need the DVR with the camera (a kit)
Thanks for your help

300ft Long Range Night Vision HD Security Camera

Question by: janie on: 2017-01-20

Please note a 300ft infrared camera does not mean that you can see a face 300ft away. To be able to see a face 170ft away, you will need a camera with a lot of zoom on it. You would need this camera, Super Long Range Infrared Security Camera.

How good will this camera see in the dark looking to reading tag numbers at 120ft.

Question by: william on: 2017-08-29

This camera is for general surveillance. You can find our license plate cameras here.

Can I mount this indoors to look through a window with a screen down a 300 foot driveway with a street lamp at the end of the 300ft and get decent video?

Question by: Theresa on: 2017-11-08

You cannot mount a security camera with infrared LEDs behind a window to look outside because the infrared light would bounce of the glass of the window and cause IR reflection. You would need to mount this security camera outside.

Answer by: Tech Support on: 2017-11-13

Does this camera use wifi and does it work on movement or events? Can I view from my phone? I'm also wondering about storage of the videos? Where are the file stored? It will also be used outside and temps can get to below zero.

Question by: Bob Bessette on: 2018-07-06

The HD9832 is a HDCVI camera. As per its specs and description, it is a coax based camera. You would need a security camera recorder to record video with this camera, and cameras like this are not wireless. Please watch our video about how to choose a security camera to learn more about different camera types we offer.
