The 71423 is a high sensitivity microphone for indoor use with a security camera or DVR recorder. If you're looking for the best possible audio pickup for integration in to your IP camera, this is the microphone to get.
Based on our testing, this security camera add-on mic can pick-up audio from up to 40ft away in a quiet environment.
For wiring, you can use either a RCA cable or a BNC siamese cable with additional BNC to RCA connector. You can even use baluns with BNC to RCA connectors.
