Meet the Face Recognition 4MP Dome — an intelligent PoE Dome camera that delivers clear results. You get crisp 2K video, smooth recording, and practical AI that helps you find what matters. A large 1/1.8" Starlight Sony Starvis sensor keeps color longer in low light, then switches to clean black-and-white when it’s truly dark. Record at up to 60fps in full 4MP, and cut bandwidth with H.265 (H.265+ offers further savings over plain H.264).

The motorized 2.7–12mm zoom lens lets you go from wide coverage to tight, detail-rich views. Control focus and zoom from your NVR, phone, or computer, and fine-tune the scene without a ladder. Perfect for entrances, lobbies, hallways, and cash wraps where you want both coverage and faces in frame.

In low ambient light, the Starlight sensor maintains color for better identification. When lighting drops further, the camera switches to black & white and engages infrared night vision for consistent after-hours coverage. Image tools like Super WDR 140 dB, BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR tame backlight and reduce noise so details don’t get lost.

This model is tuned for Face Recognition. Build on-camera face libraries, receive match alerts, and search faster when you need a person of interest. You also get perimeter and business-ready analytics: Tripwire, Intrusion, Abandoned or Missing Object to cut false alerts from rain and tree movement.

Install is straightforward. Plug-and-play PoE carries video, power, and data over one CAT5e/6 cable. The compact vandal-resistant dome is all-metal with IK10 impact protection and IP67 weather sealing, so it holds up in public spaces and outdoors. Add audio with our two-lead mic/speaker kit for live talk-down or recorded messages, and use the microSD slot for on-camera backup alongside your NVR.

For the best experience, pair it with an Avalonix PoE NVR like our 8 camera NVR or 16 camera NVR. Larger systems are supported too, including 64-channel recorders. Use solid copper cabling for reliability, such as CAT5e or CAT6.
