The included 2TB hard drive is sufficient for a week or two of continuous recording and more on an event-based recording schedule before overwriting the oldest footage. Larger hard drive configurations are available when purchasing if you need more retention time before automatic overwriting. AvaEye 8MP 4K PoE Turret Cameras with Two-Way Audio

This kit includes NDAA-compliant turret cameras that record clear 4K 8MP ultra-HD video at 20 frames per second. Thanks to a combination of the high-performance 1/2.8" Starlight CMOS image sensor and 2.8 mm lens, these cameras see a 101° horizontal field of view. These technical specs mean the cameras are able to see facial features from as far as 50 feet away during daylight. Equipped with advanced Starlight technology, the cameras maintain color video and exceptional clarity in low-light conditions, even as dim as 0.0025 Lux. In areas that are too dark, they switch to black-and-white mode, illuminating the area with up to 100 feet of infrared (IR) night vision. Designed for versatility, they are IP67 water-resistance rated, making them outdoor security cameras suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Built-in microphones allow for audio recording within a 25-foot range in a quiet setting, and the active-deterrence speaker can be used with the microphone for two-way audio interaction.

IR Night Vision and Warm Light LEDs

Unlike cameras that feature only IR LEDs for night vision in black and white in darkness, the cameras in this system are equipped with both an IR LED and Warm Light LED. When the Warm Light LED is activated, it provides a visible floodlight for the camera to see in color at night. This color night-vision capability is excellent for capturing the color and make of vehicles at night, a feature that IR night-vision security cameras do not offer. Through the camera's web interface, you can choose which type of light is activated on motion.

These advantages have been extremely challenging for all types of surveillance and security systems. AvaEye is pleased to introduce a solution that challenges the nighttime advantage criminals often exploit. The cameras in our Active Deterrence surveillance systems come with built-in warm-light LEDs and a speaker to alert them that their presence is known and scare them away. You can manually activate audio alerts and the lights using the app or use smart-detection rules to trigger them automatically. During the day, you can use the speaker to deter crime; the phone app allows you to speak through the camera or sound an alarm.

Internet is Optional

All of our 4K PoE systems work as standalone units, with or without an internet connection. This one includes an NVR equipped with four built-in PoE ports for direct connections to the cameras by pairing them with a single network cable per camera. PoE technology simplifies setup and allows the NVR to send power to the cameras over distances up to 300 feet. Additionally, any smart-detection settings you configure are able to send event data to the NVR from the cameras.

Even without an internet connection, the NVR is fully capable of storing clear 4K footage using the internal hard drive and can manage the advanced functions of the included smart cameras.

If you choose to connect the NVR to the internet, you’ll unlock additional features such as remote viewing and push notifications, keeping you informed about what’s happening at your property, whether it's your home or business.
