Enterprise level network video recorder that supports 128 Channels up to 32MP resolution. You can use it to connect IP cameras on the network, or attach channels from our DVRs and NVRs to consolidate your security camera system in to one recorder. With this NVR you can use up to 128 IP cameras at user-selectable resolutions, including our popular 4K security cameras. For guaranteed compatibility we recommend the use of Avalonix IP Cameras from CCTV Camera World as they have been tested to work with our recorders. You can also use ONVIF compatible network cameras as well, however compatibility varies depending on the manufacturer and ONVIF version. Unfortunately it is impossible to guarantee compatibility with any 3rd party cameras.
Enterprise Features
This 4K NVR recorder is housed within a 3U Rack Mountable Server Case that is fit for use in a server rack that is at least 22" deep. There are 16 hot swap hard drive bays for easy access to the internal hard drives. Each bay accepts up to 20TB DVR hard drives for a total capacity of 320TB. You can't have this much storage and not have disk redundancy. This recorder has all the bells and whistles of a real server. It offers multiple RAID configurations 0/1/5/6/10 which are perfect for use with high density video storage inside this NVR. To ensure that footage from each of the 128 cameras is recorded, the friendly user interface allows you to group camera recordings to specific hard drives, or hard drive groups. This way data encoding can be spanned and hard drive speeds will not be a bottle neck in saving multiple streams of video.
This NVR is designed for enterprise use, featuring four HDMI video outputs. These outputs can be configured to display either the same camera feed on all screens or different camera feeds on each output simultaneously. You can span different cameras across multiple monitors to keep an eye on your property, this is a feature never before seen in a standalone NVR.
Recording Capability
This 128 Camera Network Video Recorder supports any combination of the following resolution cameras up to a maximum of 128 cameras. You can mix and match cameras up to 32 MP resolution. By choosing this NVR, you will future proof your system to support the highest resolution possible at this time in 2024 for IP cameras.
It offers a total recording bandwidth of 1280Mbps when used with Avalonix Premium IP Cameras that provide AI detection by the camera and are guaranteed to be compatible with this NVR.
Storage Capacity
This is a 3U rack mountable case that has all the bells and whistles that even a PC based NVR cannot provide. It has16 hot swap hard drive bays that allow for DVR hard drives up to 20TB each, for a total of 320TB. It also features enterprise grade hard drive redundancy; utilizing RAID, the user can set up safeguard against data loss. You can also choose to record video in JBOD mode, where each drive is written to once it is filled, or span across drives/groups.
Video back-up is easy using the USB 3.0 ports on the back of the NVR for short video segments. You can even do live backups by recording the NVR to a NAS using FTP, or to another Avalonix NVR.
Motion Detection
The NVR can receive motion alerts when using Avalonix IP cameras and compatible ONVIF cameras so you can record on motion, or record all the time with a motion log. You can also connect this 128 channel NVR to sensors using its alarm input connections, and attach devices like motion sensors, PA speakers, sirens and strobe lights to its alarm panel on the back. It comes equipped with 32 alarm input connections and 16 relay outputs. You can receive motion alerts via email based on events triggered by video based motion detection or hardwired sensors. You can even receive Push Alerts to your Smartphone for motion or alarm events without any monthly charges.
AI Video Analytics
The NVR stands apart from the competition based on its ability to not only accept video analytics from compatible Avalonix cameras but also perform a certain number of video analysis on video streams from compatible ONVIF based 3rd party cameras. While testing is required by you to determine if your 3rd party cameras are compatible; if they are compatible, the NVR can provide video analytics such as tripwire, intrusion box detection, and Smart Motion Detection on those cameras. Using AI event detection by recorder does reduce the total recording bandwidth to 640 Mbps, which is still sufficient to record 64 of 12MP cameras at 15fps using H265.
Remote Viewing
Remote viewing over the web using a mobile device or PC computer is standard for all of the Avalonix DVRs and NVRs. Using the built-in web server on the recorder, you can log in using a web browser on a PC or Mac without needing any plugins to be installed, Smart Phone or Tablet, or the included Free Central Monitor Software on a Windows computer. All of our remote viewing apps and computer software are free and do not incur any additional monthly charges. Your security camera system from CCTV Camera World will be accessible from anywhere in the world.
Redundant Power Supply
In addition to storage redundancy, this professional NVR recorder also has a redundant power supply to ensure uninterrupted operation. The redundant power supply design allows the user to swap out one of the failed power supplies without any downtime.
