Description
Details
This is our highest storage capacity 64 channel NVR recorder. You can record up to 64 IP security cameras with resolutions varying from 720P to 12MP, or record all cameras of the same resolution. It is distinct from other standalone 4K camera NVR that we offer in that it has 16 available hot-swap SATA ports with RAID that allow you to replace hard drives without ever turning the unit off. It also has advanced enterprise level external storage options to add even more storage space such as the following:
- Expandable with External 8 Hard Drive eSATA hard drive enclosure
- Expandable with miniSAS connector to external SAN device
- Expandable to a NAS using iSCSI targeting
Most importantly, this 4K NVR with hot swap RAID has the highest video encoding capability of 384Mbps total. Since it allows for up to 20 remote viewing clients, and 4K resolution viewing on the NVR for live viewing and video playback. This NVR has the highest video encoding bit rate available for standalone NVRs on the market, and so do our other 64 Camera NVRs.
Recording Capability
This 4K network video recorder supports any combination of the following resolution cameras up to a maximum of 64 cameras. You can mix and match cameras up to 4K resolution. By choosing this NVR you future proof your system to support the highest resolution possible at this time for IP cameras.
It offers a total recording bandwidth of 384Mbps, which allows either use of all 4K cameras or a mix of any of the above supported resolutions until this bandwidth is filled.
Storage Capacity
This is a 3U rackmountable case that has all the bells and whistles that even a PC based NVR cannot provide. It has16 hot swap hard drive bays that allow for DVR hard drives up to 8TB each, for a total of 128TB. It also features enterprise grade hard drive redundancy; utilizing RAID the user can set to safeguard against data loss. You can also choose to record video in JBOD mode where each drive is written to once it is filled, orspan across drives/groups.
Video back-up is easy using the USB 3.0 port. We also offer an external drive array for NVR storage expansion to add an additional 8 SATA ports, or you can take advantage of the miniSAS connector to expand to a SAN. You can even do live backups using the FTP upload function to backup to a NAS, or to another NVR.
Motion Detection
The NVR can receive motion alerts when using our IP cameras and compatible ONVIF cameras so you can record on motion, or record all the time with a motion log. You can also connect this 64 channel NVR to sensors using its alarm input connections, and attach devices like motion sensors, PA speakers, sirens and strobe lights to its alarm inputs. It comes equipped with 16 alarm input connections and 8 relay outputs. You can receive motion alerts via email based on events triggered by video based motion detection or hardwired sensors. You can even receive Push Alerts to your Smartphone for motion or alarm events without any monthly charges
Remote Viewing
Remote viewing over the web using a mobile device or PC computer is standard for all of our DVRs and NVRs. Using the built-in web server on the recorder you can log in using a web browser, mobile device, or the included Free Central Monitor Software on a Windows or Mac computer. All of our remote viewing apps and computer software are free and do not incur any additional monthly charges. Your security camera system from CCTV Camera World will be accessible from anywhere in the world.

Customer Reviews
- No competition. You get what you pay for. Review by Phil K
I usually don't leave reviews, and I waited more than a year to leave this review. This is the only unit I could find that had 16 sata ports and came from a company that picked up their phone. I called and the techsupport picked up immediately. Matt Rossi and the rest of the support team respond to emails quickly. I had issues with some cheap 4MP Reolink and GW cameras I purchased from Amazon. The price was good on them and I wanted to save money on the project. Little did I know that ONVIF is a complete BS standard. I contacted the vendor on Amazon and both told me that it is not their cameras and blamed the NVR. I picked up a different NVR from Lorex to test, and found the same issue. I found the vendors on Amazon to be completely worthless. The guys at CCTV Camera World told me they could only guarantee compatibility with their own cameras but I didn't listen. A couple of the cameras stopped working after 23 days, and some were locking up, maybe because of 100deg temps. I got sick of running back to the customer replacing cameras that were either not working or acting buggy. I decided in the end to buy the 4mp security cameras Joe from CCTV Camera World recommended, and they've been working for over a year. I can change encoding and set motion detection from within the NVR interface. Makes life really simple. You get what you pay for. (Posted on 8/25/18)Quality Price Value

I have multiple buildings and will be using the ip based design.
Can I control multiple nvr from a central location?
Can I allow multiple user to view specific camera feeds?
Thanks
Question by: Dennis malone on: 2017-07-27
Yes you can control multiple NVR from one location. Please watch the first video on the second row of our Remote Viewing you security camera system page titled Viewing Cameras in Grid View. The video will show you how you can fetch cameras from NVRs on the internet. You can create a view with a mix of cameras from different locations if needed.
All of our NVRs allow for creation of multiple users with different access rights. Please read our article about how to security your security camera system for more information.
