The newest 5MP Smart Security Camera by Avalonix has arrived! This Outdoor 5MP IP Bullet Camera is a high-tech security camera that brings the latest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to your home or business security. This camera is a part of the PoE camera family of security cameras, which means it gets both its power and network connection through a single cable, making installation simpler and cleaner.

At the heart of this camera is a 5-megapixel video sensor that captures very clear images, detailed enough to recognize faces up to 50 feet away and see general details even further, up to 260 feet. The camera has two smart features to note: Smart Motion Detection (SMD) and AI-based event detection. SMD helps the camera tell apart humans and vehicles from other moving objects, reducing unnecessary alerts. The AI-based event detection allows setting up specific rules, like detecting movement across a line (tripwire) or entering a defined area (intrusion box), allowing focus on either people or cars. It's worth mentioning you can only use one of these smart detection features at a time.

Image quality is a big deal for this camera. It uses technologies like True WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), HLC (Highlight Compensation), BLC (Backlight Compensation), and 3D Noise Reduction to ensure the video is clear in various lighting conditions. The camera also has H.265 encoding, which means it needs less network bandwidth and storage space for video files.
